Mapping comes first. Always.
Before any pigment goes on, I measure and draw your brows with a pre-inked mapping string and a pencil. Every point is placed from real landmarks, not guessed or traced from a stencil.
- Start lines up with the side of your nose.
- Arch sits on the angle from your nose through your eye.
- Tail ends on the angle past the outer corner of your eye.
- Level lines check that both brows match in height and thickness.
Then I watch how your brows move when you talk and raise them, because almost everyone lifts one side more than the other. You see the finished drawing in the mirror, and nothing is permanent until you love it.
The right brown is rarely just brown.
Brow pigment heals differently depending on your skin's undertone. The wrong match can fade to gray, or warm up toward red. So I look at your undertone, your skin depth, your natural brow and hair color (gray, blonde, and colored hair included), and how much makeup you like to wear.
Then I blend your color and start a touch softer than you might expect. Fresh brows look darker for the first week, and it's always easy to deepen at your touch-up but hard to go lighter.
