Not if they're mapped and colored well. Every set starts with measured brow mapping, and I blend pigment for your undertone and hair color. You can go as soft or as defined as you like, and you see and approve the shape before anything is permanent.

Yes. Pigment is customized for light and gray hair, and thin or nearly bare brows are great candidates. Powder or combo brows often work best when there's very little hair.

Often, yes. Send a clear photo in natural light before booking. If the old work is too dark, warm, or misplaced, it may need to fade or be lightened first.

Measuring and drawing your brows before any pigment goes on, using a pre-inked string, a pencil, and landmarks like the sides of your nose and your eyes. It sets your start, arch, and tail and balances both sides. See the full process.

I look at your skin undertone and depth, your natural and colored hair, your skin type, and the look you like, then blend a pigment that heals to a natural brown. More on brow color.

They can when the pigment doesn't suit your skin's undertone. Matching and adjusting the pigment for your undertone is how I work to prevent that.

Stop retinol and acids on your brow area two weeks before, stop tweezing, waxing, and tinting a week before, and skip alcohol and non-essential blood thinners for 24–72 hours before. The prep guide has the full checklist.

Please wait if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, and talk to me first if you've taken Accutane in the past year, take blood thinners, are in cancer treatment, have diabetes or an autoimmune condition, scar easily, or have a skin condition on your brows.

At least 6–8 weeks before. That leaves time for healing, your touch-up, and the color to settle.

I use numbing cream, and most clients describe it as light scratching or pressure. Plenty of people relax enough to fall asleep.

Absolutely. I draw the shape first so you can see it, and we adjust until you love it. Nothing permanent happens until you approve it.

Very little. Most people go back to work the same or next day. For about 10–14 days you'll avoid water, sweat, sun, and makeup on your brows. See the healing timeline.

The surface heals in about two weeks, and your true healed color shows at about 4–6 weeks.

Both are normal. Brows look darkest for the first few days, then can look faint around days 10–14 as new skin forms over the pigment. Color settles by weeks 4–6.

You'll usually see light flaking rather than thick scabs, around days 5–10. Let it fall off on its own.

After about 10 days. Light walking is fine before then, as long as you don't sweat.

Yes. Your follow-up about 6 weeks after your brow appointment is included at no charge.

Usually one to three years, depending on technique, skin type, sun exposure, and skincare. Powder brows tend to last longest. When they soften, a color refresh brings them back.

They're semi-permanent. The pigment is placed in the upper layers of skin and fades gradually, which is actually a good thing: your brows can evolve as your face and style change.

Permanent makeup is generally not a reason to avoid an MRI. Let the MRI technician know you have it, just as you would any tattoo.

Usually yes, but tell me when you book. The procedure can trigger an outbreak, so many clients ask their doctor about an antiviral to take before and after.

Lips peel for about 3–7 days, can look faded for a couple of weeks, and show their soft healed color at about 4–6 weeks.
